Celebrating historic moments in time.

Yinka Ilori’s OMI Cushion will enrich your home with history and culture.

Earlier this year, Yinka’s major installation “Types of Happiness” was unveiled at London’s Royal Docks – it was here that deliveries of Caribbean rum, coffee, sugarcane and tobacco once arrived on ships into the UK. Taking inspiration from the exchange of cultures and the oceanic routes the ships would travel, Yinka’s graphic and brightly hued artwork titled “omi”, translating to “water”, remembers history through textiles, colour and pattern. Note the orange ripples set upon a deep blue background and the contrasting barrel-shaped details – each referencing the historic moment and time.

Made in Portugal from more sustainable recycled polyester, this expertly woven-jacquard cushion cover is designed with a zip fastening and includes a filled cushion  (UK orders only).

Complete the set with our EREAAMI AAMIIJO, and ODODO cushions.
