TERMS OF SERVICE

These terms and conditions form the basis on which you can visit us and our website. Please read them carefully as they contain important information.

General Terms

This site is owned by Yinka Ilori Homeware Ltd. If you have any queries about these terms and conditions or if you wish to complain about our service, then it will be dealt with promptly via store@yinkailori.com. We always welcome feedback from our customers as it enables us to improve our service.

Returns and exchange policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

To start a return, you can contact us at store@yinkailori.com . If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Please note we do not provide free returns shipping.

Exchanges

Goods can be exchanged within 7 days of receipt. Please contact us on the same address above to request an exchange. If your exchange item is less the value of the original, we will issue a credit note for the difference.

Once we receive the item, please allow 7 working days for us to process your exchange. Exchanges are void if the garment has been damaged or dirty from use.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned like our socks, prints and rugs.

Placing Orders

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. All prices are quoted in UK Sterling. The total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery.

International orders may be subject to the relevant import taxes and customs duties and fees of the destination country.

Late or Lost Items

Items to be delivered within the UK will be sent primarily by Royal Mail (in the UK) using their Special Delivery service. For items sent internationally these may be either be sent through the Royal Mail Special Delivery service or another suitable post carrier. Once your items are placed by us with the relevant post carrier, we are no longer liable for those items and in the event that they are late, lost or stolen, it is with the relevant post carrier that any liability for late, lost or stolen items will lie.

Accuracy of content

We have taken care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing and that all goods have been described accurately. However, orders will only be processed if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. Any weights, dimensions and capacities given about the goods are approximate only.

Cancellation

You cannot cancel your contract if the goods you have ordered are bespoke (i.e. made to order).

Cancellation by us

We reserve the right not to process your order if:

We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;

We do not deliver to your area; or

One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers. 

If we do not process your order for the above reasons, we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit/debit card as soon as possible, but in any event within 14 days.

Changes to legal notices

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and you should look through them as often as possible.
